Amira El Bidawi

Business Development Manager @ Green:field Vattenfall

Amira El-Bidawi is a Business Development Manager at Green:field, a wind-energy focused innovation platform of Sweden’s largest energy company, Vattenfall. She’s a previous initiator and Project Manager of Vattenfall Innovation and has also managed topics of digitalization, decarbonization, startups, venture development, and collaborations between Vattenfall and technical universities.

She’s an experienced presenter, workshop designer, moderator, and a YLVP alumni (young leaders visitors’ program.)

Amira is a board member of Kraftkvinnorna (power women), an organization promoting equality within the Swedish energy sector. She’s also the founder of the group Techgäris och Ickebinäris, a daughter group of Streetgäris for suburb women within tech.

Until recently, Amira was coordinating a volunteer group with Individuell Människohjälp, helping newly arrived Swedes learn the language, pass their homework, and integrate into society. She now volunteers for Rädda Barnen in an initiative called Kärleken Är Fri, helping kids in the danger zone of honor crimes.

Her current focus with Green:field is to develop solutions to take care of our planet’s resources by becoming more sustainable – challenging our existing methods and ways of working with new, fresh ideas.

In her free time, she’s a boxing instructor, enjoys salsa and lindy hop dancing, yoga, and learning.
