Maximilian Fischer is the co-founder of Actyx, a factory software company, offering an application development platform based on an edge-computing platform requiring no servers, brokers, or datacenters.

He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, finishing his studies at ETH Zurich, Caltech, Duke, and EPFL Lausanne.

Before helping co-found Actyx, he researched applied physical chemistry and quantum mechanics.
