“Do it – then fix it as you go.” Those are the powerful words of Norah Klintberg Sakal, the biotech engineer, self-taught data scientist, and entrepreneur whose focus is accelerating the development of new technologies in the biomedical science field.
Norah lives in San Francisco, where she’s currently bootstrapping a biotechnology startup that helps cancer and stem cell researchers to analyze their microscopy images with AI algorithms.
With a driving force to transition from idea to real product – and bringing those products to market, she’s passionate about encouraging and inspiring new ideas on implementing deep learning within day-to-day problems. She does this by sharing her journey – applying deep learning on everything from cancer and stem cell research to gardening and makeup recommendations.
She’s also a motivational speaker on artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision, entrepreneurship, and why daring to fail during a startup launch is essential.
