Zhong Yuan Xu is the co-founder and CEO of Deliverect, a platform that connects food delivery platforms to restaurants’ POS systems.
His great passion for mobile, SaaS, and cloud technologies has grown immensely since 17, when he started his first company building websites for restaurants. He graduated with an M.Sc. degree in Software Engineering in 2009 and started working for the startup Siruna immediately after. He then worked as a senior engineer for EVS Broadcast, creating mobile and cloud solutions for customers such as the London Olympics, UEFA, and BBC.
After his experience working for others – he started his own business in 2012 with co-founder Jan Hollez. Their SaaS company, formerly called POSIOS, was acquired by Lightspeed in 2014 – in which he went to become the Global Director Of Hospitality. Lightspeed now helps the hospitality industry in over 100 countries globally.
He’s now the CEO of Deliverect for which he has raised over €19 million.
