Uppsala Startup Showcase: BrightAct

BrightAct is a fast-growing name in the impact tech space, which put its efforts towards fighting for a good cause.

They predict rising levels of violence with advanced technology. This is done by gathering anonymous aggregated data to predict rising levels of violence, and to help the public sector understand the needs of the inhabitants.

Elinor Samuelsson is a senior project manager and UX manager at BrightAct. She will speak about the backstory to BrightAct with Sofie Wahlström (an innovation leader in the Swedish public sector, and advocate to promote women in tech.) And will speak about how individuals can play their part working towards the common goal of ending domestic abuse.
