Erik Krüger is currently the Head of Investments and Establishments at Invest Stockholm. Sweden has risen to notably “stardom” in the tech startup world in the past decade where many have dubbed the country a “unicorn factory” due to its large number of billion dollar startup hits vs the relatively small population size.
A large part of Eriks role is focused around how to make the group of cities within the Stockholm Business Alliance a stronger and stronger globally attractive hub for investors to deploy capital in. A big part of that focus is surrounding the ever growing impact space which Sweden is naturally a leader in given that is is the leading country globally when it comes to delivering on SDG’s (sustainable development goals).
Erik has a background both in private sector roles in sales and marketing (eg at Dell), but also in public sector positions such as his current role but formerly the Sweden Trade Council in both France and Canada.
